Mount Diablo
Mount Diablo is is an isolated upthrust peak standing 3,849 feet (1,173 m) in the Diablo Range of the eastern San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California. Mount Diablo is sacred to many California Native American peoples; according to Miwok mythology and Ohlone mythology, it was the point of creation.
