Mount Bachelor

Mount Bachelor (called so because it "stands apart" from the Three Sisters) is a stratovolcano atop a shield volcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc and the Cascade Range of central Oregon. This peak is 9,068 ft (2,764 m) tall and has been home of the Mount Bachelor ski area since 1958.
